On Tuesday, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Agency Action, Federal Rights and Federal Courts, will convene a hearing titled 'Willful Blindness: Consequences of Agency Efforts to Deemphasize Radical Islam in Combating Terrorism.' The hearing will investigate how the federal government has not only refused to appropriately identify the specific threat of radical Islam, but how it has also sought to undermine the people who highlight this threat and the information they uncover.
